Degen Oil & Chemical Company Retools Capacity for Blown Fish (Menhaden) Oil :

Degen Oil & Chemical Company has announced completion of its project to convert more of its capacity to Heat Polymerized and Blown Fish Oils.  The greatest volume is dedicated to Heat Polymerized and Blown Menhaden Oil.  Polymerized and Blown Menhaden Oil is used in a variety of industrial applications.  For more information, please contact Degen Oil & Chemical Company.

 

December 8, 1997 - Degen Oil & Chemical, Jersey City, NJ has completed a 50% expansion of its blown castor oil capacity. Blown castor oil, also known as oxidized castor oil, is used in industrial applications including coatings, inks, sealants, adhesives, lubricants and greases.

Degen Oil & Chemical also announced a debottlenecking project in its castor oil processing. This debottlenecking will increase blown castor oil capacity by another 25%.

Degen manufactures blown oil under rigid quality control procedures to meet the exacting specifications of customers around the world. In addition to blown castor oil, Degen processes other vegetable and fish oils for industrial applications.
