By the end of the 2006, Degen Oil & Chemical Company expanded its blowing capacity by modifying one of its reactors to a blowing vessel with vacuum capability. The modification enables the company to process different vegetable oils with limited change over from one type of oil to another, increasing the company's overall efficiency of the production process.
December 8, 1997 - Degen Oil & Chemical Company, Jersey City, NJ has completed a 50% expansion of its blown castor oil capacity. Blown castor oil, also known as oxidized castor oil, is used in industrial applications including coatings, inks, sealants, adhesives, lubricants and greases.Degen Oil & Chemical Company also announced a debottlenecking project in its castor oil processing. This debottlenecking will increase blown castor oil capacity by another 25%.Degen manufactures blown oil under rigid quality control procedures to meet the exacting specifications of customers around the world. In addition to blown castor oil, Degen processes other vegetable and fish oils for industrial applications. |
